Mindy is a 15-year veteran of digital politics, leading digital and technology programs for the RNC, Mitt Romney, and George W. Bush. During the 2012 election, she directed strategic policy and advocacy partnerships for Twitter and has also advised Google, Medium, and Change.org.
In 2008, Mindy founded Engage, one of the first digital media agencies for politics and advocacy working to usher the industry into the Internet era. Engage worked with hundreds of public figures, advocacy campaigns, and Fortune 500 companies in the health care, energy and technology industries. Mindy has been named one of Washingtonian’s 100 “Tech Titans,” one of POLITICO’s 50 Politicos to Watch, and one of AdAge’s 40 Under 40 leading innovation in media.
Having first covered Congress as a journalist in the aftermath of 9/11, Mindy worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. House and Senate. Mindy is also the founder and president of Empowered Women, which gives voice to a bold, new generation of American women and promotes them into civic life.
Having encouraged others to get involved and run for office, the developments of the 2016 election led Mindy to walk the walk herself when Evan asked her to be his running mate. Now, as a co-founder of Stand Up Republic, Mindy will continue her lifelong efforts to give a voice to more Americans in our democracy and inspire her fellow Americans to defend their freedoms.
